Overnight Baked French Toast

Here is a perfect breakfast recipe. I made this for a work breakfast pot luck and they ate it up!There weren't any crumbs left behind. Needless to say it was a BIG hit!

Baked French Toast
1-1lb loaf French bread, cut diagonlly in 1"-1.5" slices
8eggs **I use 6**
2 c. milk **I use 1 1/4**
1 1/2 c. half-and-half cream **I use 1**
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
3/4 c. butter
1 1/3 c. brown sugar
3 T. light corn syrup **You can also use maple syrup**

1. Butter a 9x13" baking dish. Arrange the slices of bread in the bottom. In a large bowl beat together eggs, milk, cream, vanilla and cinnamon. Pour over bread, cover and refrigerate ovenight.

2. The next morning, preheat oven to 350 degrees F and flip the bread slices over and rearrange. In a small sauce, combine butter, brown sugar and corn syrup (maple syrup); heat until bubbling. Pour over bread.

3. Bake in preheated oven, uncovered, for 40mins.

**I baked covered with foil 20mins, then added the sauce, and baked uncovered 20mins.**
